Live mint

This aromatic plant needs no introduction. Its culinary uses are so wide-ranging that they even extend to cocktails. It is used as a condiment in pastries and savoury dishes, in the preparation of tea and other drinks, creams, sauces… what more could we ask for?

Peppermint is a plant that can reach a height of up to 120 centimetres. Its scientific name is Mentha piperita L. It has medicinal properties, as it works to reduce inflammation, as an analgesic and antibacterial; it is ideal for treating digestive and respiratory disorders. That is why for a cold or stomach ache, a delicious mint tea always helps (always taking into account medical recommendations).

In the gastronomic field, mint also shines! In Spain, for example, it is part of the recipe for olla gitana, famous in the regions of Almeria and Murcia. It is also used in the traditional cocido madrileño.
