Live coriander
Cilantro is traditional and widely used in the kitchen; it is one of those herbs that can be easily found in any supermarket or even corner shop (you might have confused it with parsley). The appearance may be similar, but the taste is quite different!
This plant plays a big role in Thai cuisine and also throughout Latin America. Its flavour is intense and a bit spicy, so you have to know how to combine it. In a ceviche, for example, it goes great. It is served raw and cut into very fine, small pieces. In Mexican cuisine it is quite relevant, as it is added to guacamole, tacos and sauces, among many other dishes.
Live coriander has antispasmodic properties and helps relieve stomach upset, constipation and colic. It can also fight bad odour and lowers cholesterol.
