Pasta with pesto

Descripción: Prepare one of the most iconic dishes of Italian cuisine. Aquaponic basil will give your pesto sauce an unbeatable taste! And the best thing is that it is easy to prepare with basic ingredients such as cheese, olive oil and garlic. You can also use your favourite type of pasta.

Elaboración paso a paso

1- First, place a frying pan over a low heat to toast the pine nuts. After roasting, allow them to cool.

2- Wash the basil carefully and let it dry a little. In this part, try not to touch it too much, so as not to rust it.

3- Chop the basil leaves and mix them with some of the pine nuts, the cheeses, olive oil, chopped garlic and salt.

4- Start chopping the mixture to make the sauce (either manually or electrically). You can add the ingredients little by little to achieve the ideal consistency.

5- At the same time, add the pasta in boiling salted water. When ready, drain and transfer to a large bowl. Stir it a little.

6- A couple of tablespoons of cooking water can be added to the sauce to make it creamier.

7- Mix the pasta with the sauce and serve! You can add more grated cheese.
